The Warp

A 3-month intensive coaching program where we identify your foundational threads and the beliefs that shape how you use them—so you can make conscious choices in service of your creative life and goals.

In weaving, the loom is the stable frame onto which your warp threads are wound. When setting up the loom, each warp thread is threaded in a way that predetermines the patterns you can create.

Your life has threads and patterns too.

These are often invisible to you: your core values and purpose, your strengths, the roles you play, your core self versus your fear self, and the beliefs you hold around each. These threads shape how you navigate emotions and decisions. When you can't see them, they have the power to predetermine life outcomes for you. When you can see them, you get to choose.

When your patterns aren't working—when you feel stuck, burned out, or disconnected from purpose—it's often because your foundational threads and how they're tied up need attention.

This is where The Warp begins.

What We Do Together

Over the course of three months, we examine and work with your foundational threads:

  • Your creative wisdom and how you access it

  • Your core curiosities, purpose, and values

  • Your personal strengths and what I call your superpowers

  • The roles you play in your life and how they serve you

  • Your core self versus your fear self, and the beliefs you hold around each

  • Your internal parts—the protectors who try to keep you safe and the exiles they protect

We do this work in direct conversation with your present-day challenges and goals. The foundational work and the daily work weave together, creating the support you need to move forward clearly, confidently, and consciously.

How We Work

All clients begin with a 3-month contract that includes:

  • Unlimited online sessions — set at your pace and frequency.

  • Post-session takeaways and shared reflections — in between sessions

  • Your Weaving Draft (PDF) — a map of your foundational threads, the beliefs tied to each, and insights for making conscious choices

  • Connection to a creative community — optional quarterly gatherings with current and former clients

Many clients continue working with me after their initial contract—either for another intensive three months of coaching or shifting to once or twice monthly sessions for ongoing support.

  • Burnout or creative exhaustion that keeps returning

  • A sense that you're working against yourself

  • Patterns in your work or relationships that no longer serve you

  • A gap between who you know yourself to be and how you're showing up

  • Big transitions or decisions that require clarity about your foundation

A note: This coaching work goes deep but focuses on moving you forward rather than processing any past trauma. As a coach, I don't diagnose mental illness or treat trauma. If you're unsure whether coaching or therapy might be a better fit for you, we can discuss this together during our consultation.

Handmade black woven basket by artist Sarita Westrup

"Rachel helps me make friends with my fears around risk and success. She helps me recognize that the general cloud of anxiety I frequently experience in relation to my career feeling precarious - is an illusion, constructed to protect myself.

She helps me see things more clearly and gives me the confidence I need to take the necessary steps forward that are important to me. She reveals a bigger picture for me which relieves the pressure I put on myself to have the right answer. She helps me see the nuance in managing my professional relationships, the power in being more vulnerable, and supports me in saying no to things that don’t feel right – and yes to the things that do."
